About Carol’s Law
Giving Families a Safe Voice
Giving Families a Safe Voice
Carol’s Law supports families who are worried about the mental health and safety of someone they love. We provide a private, structured way to organize concerns, document relevant information and communicate it clearly to appropriate professionals and services.
Our role is non-clinical. We do not diagnose, provide treatment, make statutory decisions or replace emergency, NHS or other professional services.
Why Carol’s Law Exists
Families often see changes in behavior, wellbeing and safety over time that may not always be visible during short professional appointments or assessments.
Carol’s Law was created to help families organise those concerns clearly, preserve relevant information and communicate it appropriately so that their voice can form part of the wider picture considered by professionals.
Families see what happens over time. Their concerns deserve to be heard.
